About the Site
 This blog is a way for me to share anecdotes on a variety of topics of Japanese culture. Anime, manga, cities, history, literature, music, people, fansubbing, wacky stories – you name it. This is a blog for those out there who find themselves attracted to Japanese culture, but are only familiar with the globalization of Japan through mediums such as anime or jpop. There is so much more to the Japanese, and I hope to shed light on that through my posts.

About Me
To keep it simple, I’m currently an undergraduate student who enjoys learning about new cultures and new languages. I’ve been interested and familiar with Japanese culture for quite a few years, cultivated of course by my passion for anime. I’ve been learning Japanese for about three years, which in turn has led to my hobby of fansubbing, or translating Japanese shows into English.
